Martin
has worked with young people in schools and community settings for twenty-some
years. In 1990 he started a training
and consultation company named For
KidSake and began working with those who work with young people.
He has written ten books—some of which are in their third
printing—and a variety of school curricula.
The
mainstay of his work is workshops and speaking engagements.
He has worked in most every state in the country, from small-school staff
workshops to school district keynotes and youth rallies with over a thousand
attendees. Recently, he was voted
“best presenter” at a large national conference and strives to give people
practical, effective strategies for helping kids in a humorous and engaging
manner.
